Message: Pledging Our Allegiance

On July Fourth, we are reminded that our patriots made a bold declaration, paid a high price, and reaped a great reward – freedom.  In scripture we are taught to fight the good fight and finish the race, but not everyone is committed or concerned.  There’s a high price to pay for following after Jesus. Like our patriots, followers of Jesus will reap a great reward – freedom from the bondage of sin.

Think about that day you made a bold declaration and claimed Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Have you drifted? God is inviting you to repent and renew your commitment. Maybe you have never made that bold declaration. Do you know the gift of God is eternal life (John 3;16)? The good news is Jesus will save you, forgive you, and give you a new life! Make a bold declaration and pledge your allegiance to Jesus.

“… Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8: 31-32 (NIV)

Message: The Magnificent Method

Special thanks to Brother Craig Machniak for bringing the message today about God’s magnificent method to equip His people to serve Him. God stirs the hearts of His people and moves them to action. He gives us the skills, the will, the performance, and possessions to serve him faithfully. Regardless of who we are, God can and will equip us for a task that he has for us. Our goal is to be faithful and trust God and be willing to do the job he has for us. God will provide us with the knowledge and ability to complete the tasks He sets before us. What talents and gifts has God given you? Whether God calls you to build a tabernacle or just lend a helping hand to someone, how will you respond? Are you living your life focused on how you can better serve yourself or how you can better serve God?

Listen to the video to hear more about God’s magnificent method!

“and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills”

Message: It’s Never Too Late (Psalm 85)

We focus on accomplishments that are important to us, and our busyness can become excuses to neglect spiritual priorities. God offers forgiveness. He can restore us. He can revive us. Only God can grant us salvation. Listen to God. He promises peace to His people (John 14:27). Hear and believe! You can have emotional stability throughout any storm in life. Has your busyness become an excuse to neglect your spiritual priorities? It’s not too late to listen to the Lord.

I will listen to what God the Lord says;
    he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants—
    but let them not turn to folly.

Psalm 85:8 (NIV)
