When God Calls You Out: The Law of Where You Look (John 3:14-15)

Good News Testimony

Special thanks to David Woodward, Minister of Music, who shared his Good News testimony. Jesus can make a different in your life – just like He made a difference for David. If you died tonight, where would you go?  Remember, “for God so loves the world (you) that He gave…” John 3:16.

The Law of Where You Look

Today, Pastor Carl taught from John 3 and a principle found there that he calls “The Law of Where You Look.” Those who keep their eyes fastened upon Jesus will live life to the fullest. The reason why the world can’t get it right and the reason why religious people can’t get it right, is because we fasten our eyes on everything other than Jesus. Your experience in life tends to reflect mostly what you are looking at.  If you do nothing but look at other people’s failures, your life will be full of failures.  If you look at your own problems, your life will be full of problems. You’re not looking at the Problem-solver,  you’re looking at the problems. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Here’s a challenge for you. Every morning, take a long lingering look at Jesus, and think about what He has done for you. Take a look at the One who died in your place. Spend time in His presence. If you’ve never trusted Jesus as your Savior, you can be forgiven! Is God calling you?

Watch the video and be blessed!
