Sunday Morning Worship, September 3, 2017 | Carl McCray, Pastor
What if? Why Not? What if I take control of my time? (Ephesians 5:16-21 NIV)
I thank God for my Burgin Baptist church family and our time of worship together! Today, we heard from Bill Sanders and how the Good News changed his life. Our choir led us in worship with music, and Pastor Carl McCray taught about the importance of time management and doing what matters most.
Time Management: Doing What Matters Most
What if you take control of your time? Why not? We all have the same amount of time on the clock each day. Everyone is busy. If we are not careful, our schedule will own us. If we waste time, we miss opportunities. You can never get your time back. However, using our time well can put us in a place where God can use us. Ephesians 5:15 reminds us to “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise”.

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” – Ephesians 5:15 NIV
How do you take control of your time?
How do you ensure you do what matters most? Pastor Carl outlines 3 ways to organize your life and do what matters most for God’s glory.
- Start building routines into your daily life
- Give the best things the best time
- Choose a better way to waste time
What routine has God been revealing to you that you need to initiate?
