Message: It’s Almost Midnight

What if today was your last day? Are you ready to meet Jesus? Eternity is real. Jesus Christ is returning, and He is returning soon. Let’s prepare!

Scripture tells us:

Here are some questions for you to think about.

  • How are you using what God has given you?
  • Who have you helped?
  • Is your church better/stronger because you are there?
  • Are you wasting God’s gifts or are you using them for His glory?

You can experience God’s forgiveness today. What is your decision?

Sermon: It’s Just Crazy – God’s Love (John 15:13)

Jesus – “Greater love has no one than this,
that he lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13

When you think about sacrifice, really and truly, there are no stronger words than what Jesus said in John 15:13.  But Jesus didn’t just say that, He did that. It wasn’t empty words. It was something that He did just for us. That contagious story – the Gospel – changes lives when it is shared. If you know Christ as your Savior, your life has been changed. The Gospel is God’s redeeming plan for the world, and we are supposed to share it with others. So how can we share it with our friends in a very contagious way?

If we are going to share the Gospel, we need to:

  1. Know about God
  2. Know about UsRomans 6:23, Romans 3:23
  3. Know about Jesus1 Peter 3:18
  4. Know about YouMatthew 7:22-23

Jesus Christ is the only way for anyone to be saved. There is nothing we can do to merit or earn salvation. The good news is that Jesus solved our dilemma. He voluntarily took upon Himself the punishment that we deserve for our sins. Jesus died as a substitute for us. His gift to us is forgiveness and salvation. It’s up to you to decide what to do with Jesus’ gift. His gift is not automatically applied. Each person must respond. Do you know Jesus? Have you asked Jesus to be your Forgiver and Leader? Be certain today! Eternity is a long time to be wrong.

Sermon: If Jesus Lived in My House (1 Peter 3:15)

We have just one life to impact this world for Jesus.  We have just one life to share with others what we have found, one life to make a difference, one life to have a contagious heart, be on mission, and reach out. When we die, there are no “do-overs.” The stakes are high! So how do we do that? let’s ask ourselves how would Jesus reach out.  What if Jesus physically lived in my house, how would He reach out? What if He went to my school, worked in my office, or labored on the jobsite where I am at… how would Jesus reach out?  Let’s learn from the Master!
