The only way to experience genuine freedom is through Jesus Christ. The Good News is not to be put in our pocket and hidden. Everybody needs the Good News and Jesus Christ. We should be ringing out the Good News to all who will listen. Memorial Day is for remembering, rejoicing and ringing out. Christ has set us free (Galatians 5:1). As Christians, we are no longer ruled by our sinful nature. What a gift!

Message: Freedom from Your Past
We have all been labeled something. Remember how it was in school? Kids can be cruel and they can label you with a cruel nickname that they won’t let you forget. The past can be much worse than a mean-spirited kid at school. The past can drag us down. If we are not careful, the past can begin to hinder the future that God has for us and what we can accomplish for Him.
God can give you freedom from your past. If you will surrender to Jesus, God will give you a new name. One that defines your potential and who you are. God will give you a future worthy of your new name. Refuse to settle for anything less than all that God has promised you. God is faithful to His Word!
Do you need freedom from your past? Today, God is offering you freedom.
Never again shall you be called “The God-forsaken Land” or the “Land That God Forgot.” Your new name will be “The Land of God’s Delight” and “The Bride,” for the Lord delights in you and will claim you as his own. Isaiah 62:4 TLB)
Memorial Day is for remembering, rejoicing, and ringing out. On Memorial Day, we remember the ones who sacrificed. We rejoice because they didn’t die for nothing. We rejoice for our freedom! Because of them, we have the freedom to preach about God, to assemble as Christians, and to worship. We also remember the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf and His triumphant resurrection (1 Corinthians 11:23-26 NIV). The only way to experience genuine freedom is through Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are to be the light of the world and the salt of the Earth (Matthew 5:13-16 NIV), and we have a message to ring out!
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” – Galatians 5:1 NIV
On Memorial Day, we remember the ones and THE ONE who sacrificed for our freedom. Have you found freedom in the Lord Jesus Christ?
Libby McCray, wife of Pastor Carl McCray, shared her powerful testimony today. The devil is good at what he does. Don’t let the devil fool you and tell you that you aren’t ready to be a Christian. Don’t wait. Get right with God today.
Message from Pastor Carl McCray
Pastor Carl McCray taught from John 8:31-32, “To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Sometimes we get confused about what freedom really is. We think freedom is getting to do whatever we want whenever we want. However, the fact is, no one has freedom from the consequences of their actions. Freedoms have a price. Ice cream for breakfast has its consequences. Doing what we want whenever we want has its consequences. Pastor Carl spoke today about the path to true freedom. We experience true freedom when we choose well. Have you chosen to go all in for Jesus? Have you chosen to hold to God’s teachings? Jesus Christ came to set you free. Are you free? I pray you experience the true freedom found only in Jesus!
