Passage:  Mark 15:21-41

Join us as we learn some lessons from the message of the cross.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)

Jesus’work on the cross is finished… but his work in you and I is not. He wants us to experience the fullness of a relationship with him. Jesus wants us to experience the power of his resurrection every day. This is why he gave his life. Jesus arose on the third day and we are waiting for him to return right now. The Good News is that today you can be forgiven, and you can give Jesus your heart and your life right this moment.

Passage: Matthew 26:6-15

We place value on many things, and your actions speak loudly. Is there anything you value more than the Lord? The proof is in the pudding! Our scripture today tells us about Jesus’ anointing at Bethany. Who do you identify with? The woman who poured expensive perfume on Jesus, the disciples who were indignant, or the sinner who valued 30 silver coins more than Jesus? Jesus deserves our very best. Nothing is too costly to give to the Lord. Do you care enough to give Him your very best? Has there been a time you have trusted Jesus? Do you want to today?

Message: Being Like Jesus

God’s plan from the very beginning was for His people to be givers. Jesus gave. So when we give, we are being like Jesus. God deserves our very best. Live in obedience to God. He will honor those who honor Him.

“Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ In tithes and offerings.” Malachi 3:8 (NIV)

Responsive Reading: Psalm 100

Message: Harvest Time (Matthew 9:35-38)

The harvest is plentiful. There are lost people all around us ready to be saved if only someone will tell them about Jesus. It’s easy to sit in the pew… Lord, blast us out of our comfort zone to do things we’re not used to doing.

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38
