Don’t be part of the crowd left after the rapture and the second coming of Jesus. Eternity is a long time to be wrong. Surrender your life to Jesus today before it is too late. For those who are already Believers, people know how you feel about COVID-19, wearing face masks, and your opinion on politics, but do they know how you feel about Jesus?

Message: Overcoming the Ordinary
The temptation that every church, every individual should be on guard against is the attitude of complacency. The attitude that says, “good enough is good enough.” The struggle with complacency is not new. It’s been a struggle with churches and individuals all they way back to the New Testament church. Today we will hear what Jesus told a church to help break them out of their complacent mindset. His Word also applies to our church, marriages, individuals – to each one of us.
Revelations 3:15 says, “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!” Why would Jesus say that? Because a heart in the middle (a complacent heart) is the hardest to reach. Has this attitude infiltrated your heart, your life, or perhaps even your church? Are you lukewarm? The good news is that Jesus wants us to get out of that place of complacency, overcome the ordinary, and be on fire for our Savior!
How can we overcome the sin of complacency?
Reconsider what really matters most in life. What really matters is a personal relationship with Jesus.
“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”Revelation 3:15-16 NIV
What a wonderful day of worship at Burgin Baptist Church!
Kaylee McCray, a young lady from the youth group, bravely gave her testimony. This was followed by baptisms, interpretative movement by Hannah Sanders, and a sermon about the Good News. Pastor Carl reminded us that God has provided our greatest need by providing the greatest gift!
Watch the video and be blessed!
