Good News Testimony by Tim Bell

Every Christian has a testimony of faith, hope, healing, salvation, and restoration found in Jesus Christ. Thank you Tim Bell for sharing your personal testimony today about the Good News you found in Jesus Christ!

What is the missing ingredient?

Why aren’t Christians making more of a moral and spiritual impact on our world? Why do some churches have empty pews on Sunday mornings? Why is that many people in God’s church have never personally introduced someone to Jesus? Why do many Christians have time to watch T.V., but have no time for prayer or Bible study? Sermon: The World’s Greatest Problem (Ephesians 2:1-3)

What is the world’s greatest problem? The answer is sin. Nobody wants to talk about sin. It’s an unpopular subject. However; just because we don’t talk about it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. The human race is sinful. No one is immune, no one is exempt, no one is innocent. Romans 3:10 (NIV) tells us “There is no one righteous, not even one..” Because of sin, we are in big trouble…. unless somebody intervenes!

“…I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” – Jesus

Matthew 9:13 (NIV)

There is good news! God intervened. He provided a divine cure for our sin. He sent his Son. Jesus tells us in Matthew 9:13, “…I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Jesus Christ is the only one who can take away our sin. Do you understand the bad news – the facts about sin, the nature of sin, the consequences sin? Are you ready to receive God’s gift of forgiveness and have His leadership in your life?
